Description:
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
accumulations up to two inches and ice accumulations up to two
tenths of an inch. Winds gusting 25 to 35 mph.
* WHERE...Portions of central, northeast, and northwest Vermont.
* WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to 11 AM EDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Isolated power outages are possible from accumulating
ice and snow as well as some gusty winds. Travel could become
hazardous for the Thursday morning commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest period of snow, sleet and
freezing rain will occur between 8 PM and 3 AM tonight, before
changing to mainly rain by Thursday morning, except pockets of
freezing rain in eastern and northern Vermont.
