* WHAT...Snow expected above 3500 feet. Total snow accumulations up
to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
* WHERE...Haywood, Madison, Mitchell, Swain, and Yancey Counties.
* WHEN...Until 1 PM EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...The heavy snow will create snow covered roads and
produce scattered power outages. The hazardous conditions could
impact the Friday evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down
tree branches.
