* WHAT...Lake effect snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches across much of Geauga County, southern Lake County, and inland Ashtabula County. Accumulations of 2 to 5 inches are expected in northern Ashtabula County, north of I-90 in Lake County, and southern and eastern Cuyahoga County. Western Cuyahoga County will see lighter accumulations. * WHERE...Ashtabula Inland, Ashtabula Lakeshore, Cuyahoga, Geauga, and Lake Counties. * WHEN...Until 10 PM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A burst of snow will accompany a front this evening followed by lake effect snow showers. A narrow band of heavier snow connected to Lake Huron is expected to drift across parts of eastern Lake, Geauga, and Ashtabula Counties for much of Saturday with rates up to 1 inch per hour. If this band is persistent in one area, locally higher amounts are possible.
