Description:
* WHAT...Lake effect snow. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 7 inches
across much of Geauga County, southern Lake County, and inland
Ashtabula County. Accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected in
northern Ashtabula County, north of I-90 in Lake County, and
southern and eastern Cuyahoga County. Western Cuyahoga County will
see lighter accumulations.
* WHERE...Ashtabula Inland, Ashtabula Lakeshore, Cuyahoga, Geauga,
and Lake Counties.
* WHEN...Until 10 PM EST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions with slower travel
likely.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A narrow band of heavier snow is expected to
drift across the area for much of Saturday with snowfall rates up
to 1 inch per hour. If this band is persistent in one area,
locally higher amounts are possible.

During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can
also vary greatly. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,
