...LIGHT SNOW THIS MORNING WITH POSSIBLE FREEZING DRIZZLE...
.Due to the influx of drier air, confidence in the occurrence of
freezing drizzle this morning has decreased. This, combined with
early morning surface temperatures near or above freezing, has
pushed us to delay the onset of winter weather advisory for
southwest Wisconsin until mid-morning. We could still see a wintry
mix north of Interstate 94 tonight and early this morning, which
could still lead to slick spots for the morning commute on lesser
traveled and untreated roads.
* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations up
to one inch and a glaze of ice.
* WHERE...Portions of central, southwest, and west central Wisconsin.
* WHEN...From 9 AM this morning to 3 PM CST this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
