Description:
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches
above 6000 feet, locally higher amounts over peaks. Winds gusting
as high as 45 mph.
* WHERE...West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada and Western Plumas
County/Lassen Park Counties.
* WHEN...From 7 AM to 7 PM PST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery travel conditions, with travel delays
and chain controls possible. The hazardous conditions could impact
the Tuesday morning and evening commutes and holiday travel
periods.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels around 5500 to 6500 feet Tuesday
morning, then expected to fall to near 5000 feet by Tuesday
afternoon.
