CASCADES CHRISTMAS EVENING INTO THURSDAY. LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW
ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHERN WASHINGTON AND NORTH IDAHO...
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations 5 to 8 inches in
the mountains and at Lookout Pass. Valley accumulations will vary
between a few tenths to 2 inches in the Silver Valley to 1 to 4
inches in the valleys around Priest Lake, Sandpoint, and Bonners
Ferry.
* WHERE...Priest River, Clark Fork, Lookout Pass, Pinehurst, St.
Maries, Wallace, Dobson Pass, Eastport, Schweitzer Mountain Road,
Fourth Of July Pass, Sandpoint, Mullan, Osburn, Bonners Ferry,
Fernwood, Athol, and Kellogg.
* WHEN...From 1 AM to 1 PM PST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Winter travel conditons are expected Thursday morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures will warm above freezing
Thursday afternoon.
