Description:
* WHAT...Snow above 6000 feet with accumulations of 1 to 5 inches.
Snow accumulations up to 10 inches along the highest peaks. Ridge
winds gusting as high as 55 mph. South to southwest winds up to 35
to 40 mph below 6000 feet.
* WHERE...Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties.
* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to noon PST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes.
Gusty winds could bring down tree branches.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Stronger winds are likely for wind prone
areas, particularly along portions of Highway 395 between
Susanville and the state border.
