Description:
* WHAT...Snow above 6000 feet with accumulations of 1 to 5 inches.
Snow accumulations up to 15 inches along the highest peaks. Ridge
winds gusting as high as 70 mph. West to southwest winds up to 55
mph below 6000 feet.
* WHERE...Lassen-Eastern Plumas-Eastern Sierra Counties.
* WHEN...Until noon PST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes. Gusty
winds could bring down tree branches.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Stronger winds are likely for wind prone
areas, particularly along portions of Highway 395 between
Susanville and the state border.
