Description:
* WHAT...Snow above 7000 feet with accumulations of 3 to 8 inches.
Snow accumulations up to 15 inches along the highest peaks. Ridge
winds gusting as high as 100 mph. Otherwise, west to southwest
winds 15 to 30 mph and gusts 50 to 60 mph.
* WHERE...Mono County.
* WHEN...Until noon PST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
could impact the Thursday morning and evening commutes. Very
strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and power lines.
