Description:
* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory...moderate to heavy snow at
times. Additional snow accumulations between 4 to 10 inches with
locally higher amounts above 10000 feet. For the Winter Storm
Warning, heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 8
and 14 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph above 10000 feet.
* WHERE...Elkhead and Park Mountains.
* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 9 AM MST Friday. For
the Winter Storm Warning, from noon Friday to 6 AM MST Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous. Visibilities may drop below 1/4
mile due to falling and blowing snow Friday evening into Saturday
morning. Travel could be very difficult.
