Description: 
...PERIODS OF SNOW FOR PARTS OF THE PANHANDLE THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT... .A heavy band of snow is moving northward through the panhandle, bringing a short periods of moderate to heavy snow ongoing at Haines. This band will move over relatively quickly, snow showers along the back side of the band will continue through tonight with periods of light to moderate snow, Advisory extensions may be needed through Sunday. For the second separate Winter Weather Advisory across the southern panhandle, temperatures are expected to start cooling through Sunday with bands of snow moving through the southern and central panhandle by the afternoon into Sunday night. Accumulations in the south will be the highest on the higher elevations of Prince of Wales Island midday Sunday, but will have more accumulations expected at sea level by Sunday evening and night as temperatures cool Sunday evening. * WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches. * WHERE...Haines Borough and Klukwan. * WHEN...Until 4 AM AKDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Plan on slippery conditions. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS....Highest accumulations will be with the heavy band of snow currently over the area, but snow showers will continue through the night.
