...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR BIG ISLAND SUMMITS ABOVE 12000 FEET
THROUGH 6 AM HST TUESDAY...
.An upper low will enhance moisture over the Big Island and bring
potential for snow and freezing rain.
* WHAT...Snow and freezing rain. Additional snow accumulations up to
two inches.
* WHERE...Big Island Summits above 12000 feet.
* WHEN...Until 6 AM HST Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Blowing snow will
significantly reduce visibility at times, with periods of zero
visibility.
Instruction:
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet, or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities and use caution while
driving.
