...BAND OF SNOW FROM ATLANTIC TO CRESTON TO NEAR OSCEOLA WILL BEGIN
TO DIMINISH THIS MORNING...
.A moderate to at times heavy snow band has prevailed since about
midnight over a portion of southwest into south central Iowa. While
no accumulations are known at this hour, webcams have shown a snow
or slushy accumulation on some roads in that portion of Iowa. This
band has had a sharp cutoff of snowfall on the northeastern edge.
Those that have been and are under this snow band should expect
impacts to travel conditions for their morning commute.
* WHAT...Snow, perhaps mixed with sleet at times. Additional snow
accumulations up to two inches.
* WHERE...Portions of west central into southwest and south central
Iowa.
* WHEN...Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions will impact this morning's commute.
