Description:
* WHAT...Snow expected this afternoon followed by snow showers and
squalls this evening and tonight. Expect snow accumulations of 1
to 3 inches with locally higher amounts where snow showers are
most persistent. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph as temperatures
fall into the 20s at lower elevations and teens above 2,500 feet.
Sudden visibility reductions to 1/4 mile or less will be possible
in snow squalls.
* WHERE...Harlan and Letcher Counties.
* WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning
commutes.
