Description:
* WHAT...For the Winter Weather Advisory, snow. Additional snow
accumulations up to 4 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph. For
the Winter Storm Warning, heavy snow expected. Total snow
accumulations between 2 and 4 feet. Winds gusting as high as 80
mph on Thursday.
* WHERE...The Continental Divide along the Rocky Mountain Front.
* WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 6 PM MDT this
evening. For the Winter Storm Warning, from 6 PM this evening to 6
PM MDT Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are possible and may make travel
treacherous and potentially life-threatening, especially from 12
AM Thursday through 8 AM Thursday.
Instruction:
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions can
be obtained by calling 5 1 1 or visiting the MDT Road Report website.
