Description:
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6
inches with locally higher amounts above 7000 feet. Winds gusting
as high as 40 mph may create areas of blowing and drifting snow
Thursday evening.
* WHERE...The Continental Divide along the Rocky Mountain Front,
Upper Blackfoot and MacDonald Pass, Elkhorn and Boulder Mountains,
and Beaverhead County Mountains.
* WHEN...From 6 AM Thursday to 6 AM MDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Tire chains may be required for some vehicles if
traveling through mountain passes.
Instruction:
Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road
conditions can be obtained by calling 5 1 1 or visiting the MDT Road
Report website.
