Description:
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 4 inches,
greatest over the hills south of the Yellowstone River. Winds
gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Northeastern Yellowstone, Northern Big Horn, Southwestern
Yellowstone, Treasure, and Northern Rosebud.
* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 PM MDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be difficult due to snow, localized blowing
snow and poor visibility. This includes I-90 from Billings to
Hardin and I-94 to Hysham and Forsyth. Cool, wet, and breezy
conditions will be hazardous for young livestock.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow is expected tonight into
Friday morning.
