Description:
* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations up to three inches
above 3500 feet. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph.
* WHERE...In North Carolina, Ashe and Watauga Counties. In Virginia,
Grayson County.
* WHEN...Until 2 AM EDT Tuesday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Monday evening commute. Strong winds
could cause tree damage.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Rapidly falling temperatures are expected
this afternoon with rain showers changing to snow. Snow is
expected to accumulate across the higher elevations this evening.
