Description:
* WHAT...Wet snow above 3500 to 4500 ft. Additional snow
accumulations up to 1 to 4 inches at pass level. For isolated
locations between 5000 and 5500 feet near Mount Hood, additional
accumulations of 3 to 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...North Oregon Cascades.
* WHEN...Until 11 PM PDT this evening.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
likely become slick and hazardous.
Instruction:
Have a winter emergency driving kit readily available. Common items
to include: flashlight, batteries, blankets, a shovel, water,
non-perishable food items, tire chains, etc.
Be aware that walking surfaces may be slick. Walk with extra care.
