* WHAT...Urban area and river flooding caused by previous rainfall and continued snowmelt. * WHERE...In Wisconsin, Iron County. * WHEN...Until 1015 PM CDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of the West Montreal River and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. Flooding is occurring on area rivers that are popular for waterfall viewing. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 725 PM CDT Tuesday, trained weather spotter reported flooding in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring in the community of Montreal along the West Montreal River. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Montreal, Gile Hurley, Pence and Gile Flowage. - Flood safety information can be found at www.weather.gov/safety/flood.
Instruction: 
Visitors to area waterfalls should expect snow and ice covered trails and be careful around rivers that will have slippery rocks, cliffs, and strong currents. Report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and to the National Weather Service in Duluth when you can do so safely. Flooding can be reported to the National Weather Service at 1-800-685-8612.
