Wisconsin River below Whiting Dam affecting Portage County.
Wisconsin River below Stevens Point affecting Portage County.
Wisconsin River below Wausau affecting Marathon County.
For the Wisconsin River...including Otter Rapids-Eagle River, Rainbow
Reservoir, Rhinelander, Alice Lake Reservoir, Hat Rapids Dam,
Tomahawk Dam, Grandfather Dam, Wausau, Alexander Reservoir, Merrill,
Rothschild, Dubay Reservoir, Whiting Dam, Stevens Point, Biron
Reservoir, Wisconsin Rapids...Minor flooding is forecast.
For the Yellow River...including Pittsville, Babcock...Moderate
flooding is forecast.
* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Yellow River at Babcock.
* WHEN...Until Thursday evening.
* IMPACTS...At 15.6 feet, flood waters are near a couple of homes in
the Babcock area near Highway 173.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 15.0 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 9:00 PM CDT Tuesday was 15.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 15.6 feet
tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage early
Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.6
feet on 06/19/1993.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
