* WHAT...Major flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of
record.
* WHERE...Yellow River at Necedah.
* WHEN...From this afternoon to late Monday morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 4:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 14.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this afternoon to a crest of 18.6 feet Friday morning. It
will then fall below flood stage Sunday afternoon.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
18.4 feet on 09/25/2016.
