This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Pike River near Amberg. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Flooding is mainly confined to areas west of Amberg. Water is touching the bottom of the Highway V bridge. Moderate lowland flooding is likely occurring. Water is approaching homes in the area. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:00 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 7.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 4.5 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 11:00 AM CDT Wednesday was 7.7 feet. - Forecast...No forecast is available for this location. - Flood stage is 6.5 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 7.3 feet on 04/14/2023. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
