* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Wisconsin River at Wisconsin Dells.
* WHEN...Until late Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 17.6 feet, Floodwaters affect cabins and trailers
southeast of Wisconsin Dells along Levee Road, Van Hoosen Road,
Indian Trail Parkway and boat launch, Fish St, Ingebretson Road,
Sherri Linn Dr and Norway Drive. Water approaches structures on
Rivers Edge Rd. Water from the Wisconsin River backs into Hulburt
Creek causing floodwaters to affect the backyards of some
businesses in downtown Wisconsin Dells along Highway 13 east of I
90. Water approaches the intersection of Indian Trail and County
Rd A.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 3:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 15.8 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 13.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
early this morning to a crest of 17.6 feet just after
midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage early
Sunday morning.
- Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
17.6 feet on 09/27/2010.

Instruction:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
