Baraboo River Near Baraboo affecting Columbia and Sauk Counties. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Baraboo River near Baraboo. * WHEN...Until early Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, If Wisconsin River at Portage up to 17 feet also, water impacts parking lots near Hwy 33 and water over Tritz Rd near Hwy 33. There is widespread flooding of agricultural land. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 10:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 16.4 feet. - Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:00 AM CDT Thursday was 16.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.2 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
