Wolf River near Shiocton affecting Waupaca, Shawano and Outagamie Counties. For the Lower Wolf River...including Shiocton, New London...Major flooding is forecast. * WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Wolf River at New London. * WHEN...Until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 12.1 feet, Water reaches the bottom of the railroad bridge in New London. Flood waters are spreading into portions of North Waters Street and East River Avenue. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 8:30 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 12.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:30 PM CDT Saturday was 12.1 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall to 9.3 feet Saturday, April 25. - Flood stage is 9.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
