* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
forecast.
* WHERE...Rock River at Jefferson.
* WHEN...Until further notice.
* IMPACTS...At 11.5 feet, Floodwaters affect Highway K between
Jefferson and Fort Atkinson. Floodwaters affect some low lying
residences and businesses in Jefferson. Water on road at Hwy 26
(Main St) and Hwy N (E Dane St) and S Center Ave. Riverview Drive
near the wastewater plant is flooded and closed.

- At 10:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 11.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:00 PM CDT Wednesday was 11.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 11.5
feet just after midnight tonight.
- Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
11.5 feet on 03/16/2019.

Instruction:
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Even 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock you off your feet
and a depth of 2 feet will float your car. Never try to walk, swim,
or drive through such swift water. If you come upon flood waters,
stop, turn around and go another way.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
