Southeastern Marathon County in central Wisconsin... * Until 500 PM CDT. * At 421 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Mosinee, or 16 miles south of Wausau, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This tornado will be near... Mosinee around 430 PM CDT. Rib Mountain around 440 PM CDT. Weston around 445 PM CDT. Wausau around 450 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by the tornado include Moon, Knowlton, Big Eau Pleine County Park, Dancy, Evergreen, Peplin, Rothschild, Camp Phillips Scout Camp and Schofield.
